It's finally here!  Students found wrapped up books hidden in their classrooms this morning!
If your child found a book, they can bring it home to read.  After they finish reading it, they can write a comment about their favorite part on the inside cover.  Then they can pass it to another friend from their class!  The new friend can read it, write about it and share it too!  And so on...and so on...and so on...

Dying to Meet You by Kate Klise is the 4th and 5th grade Read It Forward book of 2010.  Students will enjoy the story as told through letters and other types of communication.  This Bluebonnet Nominee will not be a disappointment!  Students who've already read it have been looking for the sequel, Over My Dead Body.

Second and Third Graders will enjoy reading Stanley, Flat Again! by Jeff Brown.  Brown wrote a series of Flat Stanley books that appeal to all readers!  After they have finished this one, they may wish to pick up another Stanley book from the library!!

This cute little mouse was hidden in the Kinder and 1st grade classrooms!  The Library Mouse by Daniel Kirk is a great little book that helps the kids learn more about the library and writing.  Students who found the book can take it home and read it, then on the inside cover write about their favorite part and then share it with a friend.  That friend will do the same...then share it with another friend...and so the reading fun continues!!!
